Foreign

I once was an alien,
Weird and unique;
An oddball enigma -
Something of a freak!

No person in town
Knew quite what to do.
They said, "We've met nobody
Quite like you!"

I felt exiled, distant,
Remote and estranged -
But then I found Twitter -
And everything changed!

I'm not such a puzzle,
Alone as can be -
Elsewhere in the world,
There are people like me!
