Just think, if I could only share
My greatest gift - my happiness!
For, such misery this world does bear;
So many things here cause distress.

Imagine the possibility of catching a smile
As people contract colds or disease;
Surely, having contagious giggles for a while
Would compel cruel sorrow to swiftly ease.

Though, infectious joy seems an unlikely notion,
My mental optimism does not wane -
Perhaps, someday I'll find a potion
That allows pure hope to spread again!

I wonder - might I discover a way
To bottle my own feelings of merriment?
I've plenty to spare, as I feel it each day -
Thus, a method of sharing, I must invent!

Such sweet delights fill my daily life -
Here in comfortable paradise, where I reside.
Although, it's not devoid of worry and strife,
It's just not in my nature to feel bad inside.

So, if I'd a mode of boxing the joy I possess,
I believe it must do the world good;
As I'd donate packages of gleeful excess!
Oh, it would be such a glorious thing, if I could!

If I could blow laughter and cheer into the air,
I might reduce, or alleviate stress.
How I dream that I could share
My greatest gift - my happiness!
For the 100 themes challenge. It has been ages since I've written!
